Flostoy is a small village in the northeastern part of the Namur province, in the region called Condroz, about 12 km northeast of Ciney, which likes to call itself the capital of Condroz. It is quietly situated in a beautiful landscape with elongated hills rising up to 300 m, but unfortunately marred by a very prominent power line, a first-class visual pollution. The village church of Flostoy, which at first glance seems much too large, is originally a 12th-century Romanesque church that was not properly adapted in the 16th, 18th, and 19th centuries. In the interior, there is a remarkable baptismal font made of polished black stone, featuring an octagonal basin adorned with figures.
