Nieuw Ehrenstein is a castle-like farm, located in the Anstel valley, in the Dutch municipality of Kerkrade.De farm was built in 1753 by Hendrik Poyck, lord of Erenstein Castle. It was a tenant farm of the castle. From 1808 to around 1920 this was inhabited by noble families: Von Verden, Corneli and De Maurissens. At this time it was a comfortable place to live, to which a large manor house under mansard roof was added. There was also a beautiful garden and a conservatory at the time. When the property was sold around 1920, it was reverted to the function of a farm. The gardens disappeared, the mansion was split and a house was built in one of the stables.
