Marke Castle is a castle in the municipality of Marke, located at Kasteeldreef 10-12. It is a castle, actually a country house, that was built between 1802 and 1807 by order of linen merchant François van Ruymbeke and his wife Marie-Thérèse Delebecq, who was the widow of Jean de Bethune. Architect was Jean-Baptiste Pisson. Since then, the domain has remained in the possession of the De Bethune family. The surrounding English landscape garden was designed by Benjamin Dewarlez.
