The pavilion for Electricity at Expo 58 was enormous, 120 meters by 67. The façade featured large neon decorations. Inside the building was a power station that provided one-sixth of the necessary electricity supply for Expo 58. The pavilion was sold to the Terneuzense Scheepsbouw Maatschappij. In the 1970s, it was taken over by the timber trade Jongeneel. The new owner renovated the pavilion, but the steel structure is still in its original state.
