De kerk is in neogotische stijl gebouwd. Het fraaie interieur is helemaal intact en vol symboliek. Elk element is erop gericht de bezoeker te wijzen op de grootsheid van het geloof. Zo symboliseren de vloertegels met afbeeldingen van verschillende dieren de zeven hoofdzonden. Je moet ze als het ware vertrappen, proberen ze te overwinnen en te streven naar het hogere. Het hogere is gesymboliseerd in de lampen, die als lichtend voorbeeld de acht zaligheden roemen. Tevens wisselende tentoonstelling van nog niet eerder getoonde kerkelijke schatten.
