Palau Güell is a mansion designed by Antoni Gaudí. It was built between 1886 and 1889 by the Catalan industrialist Eusebio de Güell.
Like all other works of Gaudí in Barcelona, it is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The house is centered around a central space, where high-profile guests were received. The facade features two large gates, through which horse-drawn carriages with guests were driven in. The guests were received on the first floor. It is the only building where Gaudí was involved from start to finish.
