Gadderbaum is a district in the city of Bielefeld, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The district is best known for the facilities of the von Bodelschwingh Foundations Bethel. Gadderbaum was an independent municipality in the district of Bielefeld until 1972.
Gadderbaum lies on both sides of the Bielefeld Pass in a longitudinal valley of the Teutoburg Forest between Bielefeld city centre and Brackwede. The WNW-OSE extension of the district is about five, the NNE-SSW extent about two kilometers with an area of 8.66 square kilometers. The highest point at 286 m above sea level is on the Jostberg in the area of the main ridge of the Teutoburg Forest, where the districts of Brackwede, Dornberg and Gadderbaum border each other.
