Nothomb is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Luxembourg and since the municipal reorganization of 1977 in the arrondissement of Arlon, a borough of Attert of which it was originally part and was split off as an independent municipality in 1923. In 1839, when the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg was split off, Nothomb was assigned to the Grand Duchy and in 1843 it became part of Belgium again.
