What beauty tricks did women and men use in the past? What little white lies for the best? And since when has clothing been copied? Memories and the (failure of) memory are central to the testimonies and objects of Ghent nursing home residents who receive a (real) voice and face through this exhibition. With new media techniques and tricks from the old box, where children and young people from JAVI-tv also participated, people over 80 show that Ne(p/t) really belongs to all generations. The collaboration with Design Museum Ghent and MIAT is the unexpected cherry on the cake.

workshop: Cooking according to ‘grandmother's recipe’
How often do you not read on packages ‘according to old recipe’? During this cooking workshop, you will gain insight into recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation and compiled in the book ‘From the pot to the casserole’. While cooking, strong stories and memories from the residents of the care center will be shared.
