Burrington es un asentamiento que data del Domesday Book, cuando la mansión estaba en manos de Edric el Salvaje, alrededor del cual crecieron muchas leyendas posteriormente. La iglesia actual data de 1864, cuando se reconstruyó una estructura anterior. Posee posiblemente la colección más fina de losas de hierro fundido de los siglos XVII y XVIII del país.
