Deurloostraat with Free Catholic Church St. Gabriel
The simple rectangular building of the Free Catholic Church Amsterdam at the corner of Deurloostraat/Dongestraat in the Rivierenbuurt in the south was designed by the Hilversum architect H.A. van Anrooy (1885-1964) in 1928. The closest collaborator was architect J.L.M. Lauweriks (1864-1932), who was also a priest for this ecclesiastical community in Amsterdam.
