Aan de voet van de Kesterheide - langs de oude trambedding - ligt de hoeve van natuur educatief centrum De Paddenbroek in een oase van hoogstambomen met biologische moestuin, bakoven en bijenhal. In het educatief centrum gaan natuur en landbouw hand in hand want het Pajotse landschap is voor een groot stuk 'landbouwnatuur' met fruitbomen, hagen, poelen en andere kleine landschapselementen. Paddenbroek staat voor iedereen open als rustplek, vertrekpunt, vormingscentrum, ontmoetingsplaats... Paddenbroek heeft een uitgewerkt aanbod voor het basisonderwijs maar ontvangt ook groepen en teambuilding.
