Le moulin blanc de Tiegem à été construit en 1880 pour remplacer un moulin en bois datant de 1738. Il y a quelques années le moulin fut détruit et rebâti quelques mètres plus loin. La surface en face du moulin fut utilisée comme décor pour le film 'De Vlaschaard'. Ensuite il y aussi la tour d'observation (Verrekijker) qui fut utilisée par les Allemands pendant la première guerre mondiale.
