A copy of the famous Roman travel map Tabula Peutingeriana dating from the 3rd to 4th centuries can be seen in the Austrian National Library. The map was produced by a monk of Colmar. The map ended up in the hands of the humanist Konrad Peutinger from Augsburg from which it has got its name. René Voorburg created a planner based on this map. The planner allows you to calculate routes based on data from the map (see More info).
