Oostkerke is a polder village in the Belgian province of West Flanders and a district of the city of Diksmuide. The small village has an area of 3.77 km² and has nearly 300 inhabitants.
Until the 13th century, Oostkerke was only known as Volcravenkinderkerke, after which the name Oostkerke also came into use, as the church to the east of the mother parish of Lampernisse. Until 1786, the original name was also in use. Oostkerke belongs to the Middle Flemish Polders, indicating a 12th-century origin.
