Puth ist ein Dorf in der niederländischen Provinz Limburg, das zur Gemeinde Beekdaelen gehört und östlich von Geleen liegt. Das Dorf hat 2.245 Einwohner. Puth liegt zusammen mit Doenrade auf einem Plateau, über das eine alte römische Handelsstraße verläuft, die von Deutschland nach Maastricht führt. Diese Verbindungstraße wird heute Maastrichterweg genannt. Die Entstehung von Puth ist wahrscheinlich auf diese Handelsstraße zurückzuführen. Trotz der hohen Lage des betreffenden Gebiets entstand hier eine Bevölkerung aufgrund der fruchtbaren und leicht zu bewirtschaftenden Böden.
