After several tests of Coca Cola and local successes, it was decided to launch the product on a national scale. On June 17, 1930, the N.V. COCA-COLA BELGIUM was established for this purpose, and by the end of 1931, it set up its own bottling unit in a small workshop on Belgradostraat in St. Glillis (Brussels). The system already had a filling capacity of 720 bottles per hour.
After a significant increase in sales, the workshop on Belgradostraat became too small in 1935. The "N.V. COCA-COLA BELGIUM" then decided to move to Ruisbroekse Steenweg in Vorst (Brussels) in a factory that had closed its doors in 1933.
