Long Meg and Her Daughters is een van de grotere steencirkels van Groot Britanie. De grootste steen van de cirkel, Long Meg, is ruim 3½ meter hoog en staat net buiten de cirkel. De steencirkel stamt uit de bronstijd en is gedateerd op ongeveer 1500 voor Christus. Tegenwoordig bestaat de steencirkel uit 59 stenen waarvan er 27 nog overeind staan, maar men denkt dat de oorspronkelijk cirkel bestond uit 70 stenen.
Volgens de traditie waren Long Meg en haar dochters heksen, die door de Schotse tovenaar (of een Sint) Michael Scot in de 13e eeuw in stenen zijn veranderd. Volgens die zelfde legende wordt de betovering verbroken als je in staat bent het juiste aantal stenen te tellen. Kom je tot tweemaal toe op het juiste aantal uit, dan wordt de betovering verbroken.
