Bellevaux

The region directly north of the Semois at Bouillon is certainly not deprived of streams that descend steeply from the green heights to the valley of the Semois rather deeply dug. It is therefore not surprising that several watermills have been built on these rivers in the past. It may be a shame that almost all these mills are supplanted by the inventions of modern technology, but hey, who could stop "progress"?

TYPE OF ROAD
Bitumen in and around the village, but for the rest a mixture of forest roads and countryside of earth and with base surface, which are inaccessible to strollers and wheelchairs. You have to go up and down regularly, but don't be afraid: there are no long steep slopes to overcome.

MARKUP
The route is signposted as promenade 56 (red right triangle with black numbers). Sometimes you will only see a wooden arrow with the number 56. Around the first mill you will also be guided by lying green closanges.

PARKING
In the immediate vicinity of the church with a tower and a façade covered with slate.
