Walk or jogging track on the Syngros Estate, one of the rare green patches of the area around Athens-Maroussi. As John Tomkinson writes in his book 'Athens, The Suburs': '... there is still one place where the solitary walker may successfully imagine himself in a forest rather than a city suburb.'

Most of the path is unpaved and not that ideal for prams or wheelchairs. If you stay on the main paths (so don't follow this track), you can enjoy this estate by wheelchair and pram. Some of the roads are quite steep.
Ideal area in summer when it is a bit hot in the city. You can get here by taking the metro to Maroussi, which is about 30 minutes from the center.
