Hünningen-Weißer Stein

Departure from B&B Silberhütte for a varied walk, through a meadow landscape, a piece of peat bog, a forest and the Holzwarchedal nature reserve. Passes partly on the GR56.
Starting from B&B Silberhütte, we walk along the nearby edge of Mürringen on quiet roads and almost immediately have a beautiful view of the forest and the Holzwarche nature reserve waiting for us. When we arrive at the forest, we look for the Bocksvenn, where the Weißer Stein is located, the 1st highest point in Belgium. We continue our walk in the forest on paved roads until we finally reach the open landscape along the edge of the forest and we can enjoy beautiful views of the Holzwarche valley.
Due to this last part in the Holzwarche valley less suitable for strollers or wheelchairs. The first part of the walk is possible. Also very nice with dogs who love water.
