For those who occasionally navigate a recreational boat in Amsterdam, the route along Berlages Amstelkanaal can be easily combined with other attractions in Amsterdam.
In short:
This route begins at the Amstel and Bridge 400. You then travel along the Amstelkanaal to the 5-way junction of the waterways, called the Round Kom. From there, you head starboard into the Boerenwetering. At the end, you arrive at Strand Zuid, where there is a mooring opportunity. You then head back to the Round Kom and steer starboard under Bridge 419 through the Zuider Amstelkanaal. The route ends at the Olympic Stadium. From there, you can navigate over the Schinkel to Nieuwe Meer or continue to Amsterdam.
