Moircy

Stroll along the famous and important Ardennes Ourthe River. It is formed by the confluence of the western and eastern Ourthe. This confluence has been dammed and thus forms the Nisramont reservoir. The western Ourthe rises near Libramont, flows northeast to Amberloup and so on to Lavacherie, where it enters the large forests between Saint-Hubert and La Roche-en-Ardenne.

NATURE OF THE ROUTE
You alternately follow paved, elementary paved and unpaved roads. Asphalt in and near the villages of Moircy and Jenneville, elementary pavement in the ascent to the forests and unpaved in and along the forest. The condition of unpaved roads - overgrown with knee-deep grass in good season - does not allow you to bring a stroller or wheelchair.
There are really big height differences that cannot be overcome. But a hundred meters of flat road is a rarity.

SIGNAGE
None (if we consider the very ephemeral appearance of a yellow and white sign of the GTA, the great crossing road of the Ardennes).

PARK
It is sometimes claimed that the church should be in the middle of the village. Well, in Moircy they have completely deviated from this: the church is in its full length along the N826, but as much as possible outside the residential centre, near the border with the neighbouring village of Jenneville.
A different point of view on things or what? Opposite the neat church building - of course made of stone from the area - surrounded by the cemetery there is a spacious car park, but on the other side of the N826.
