East Berlin

One of the most remarkable socio-geographical studies of East and West yielded the following remarkable observation. Women in East Germany reported more orgasms than West Germans. There is, of course, much debate about the explanation for this phenomenon. A very popular textbook on sex education published as early as 1969 in East Germany could provide an explanation. That book gave explicit instructions on how to satisfy a woman, with the goal of an egalitarian distribution of pleasure. In many Western countries, this kind of information for youth came half a century later, or is still not there.
