Periana er en spansk kommune i Málaga-provinsen, i den autonome region Andalusien. Den ligger i Axarquía-distriktet, 58 kilometer fra Málaga, omgivet af bjerge.
Store bjergformationer som Alhama- og Enmedio-bjergene skiller sig ud, samt "Sierra Tejeda". De mest oplyste områder af disse bjergkæder, samt nærliggende områder, er dækket af en mellemstore holm egetræ. På den anden side, på grund af udnyttelsen af holm egetræets træ, udvidelsen af landbrugsjord og græsningsområder, eller på grund af dets brug som jagtområde, er det meget almindeligt at finde forskellige typer af buskvegetation.
