Houssoy-Bauernhof und ihr imposanter Tour Carrée (viereckiger Wehrturm)
Als ehemaliger Sitz einer Lehnsherrschaft, die im 16. Jahrhundert von Jean de Houssoy an die Familie de Salmier verkauft wurde, wird das Gehöft seit 1929 von der Familie d’Ans bewirtschaftet. Vom Wohntrakt aus links gelegen, beherrscht der Turm die Landschaft. Der massive viereckige Wehrturm mit Mauern von mehr als einem Meter Dicke wurde aus Bausteinen der Gegend errichtet, die aus eisenhaltigem Sandstein bestehen. Vier Stockwerke hoch, wurde er früher noch von einem Schieferdach bedeckt. Der Turm besitzt mehrere kleine, mit Quadern versehene Fensteröffnungen und eine Rundbogentür. Der viereckige Turm sowie das Gehöft und seine Befestigungsanlagen dienten den Bewohnern von Houssoy im Mittelalter als Zufluchtsort.
