Portchester Castle ist eine mittelalterliche Burg, die in einem früheren römischen Fort in Portchester, östlich von Fareham in der englischen Grafschaft Hampshire gebaut wurde. Sie liegt am Nordende des Hafens von Portsmouth. Die vermutlich gegen Ende des 11. Jahrhunderts entstandene Burg gehörte einem Baron und wurde 1154 unter königliche Kontrolle gestellt. Die Krone kontrollierte die Burg mehrere Jahrhunderte lang; sie war das bevorzugte Jagdschloss von König Johann Ohneland. Im Jahre 1216 wurde Portchester Castle von den Franzosen belagert und eingenommen, kehrte dann aber kurz darauf auf Dauer in englische Hände zurück.
