The Otto Pankok Museum of the municipality of Hünxe is located on the Haus Esselt estate in the Drevenack district and exhibits works by Otto Pankok, who acquired the estate in the 1950s and lived there until his death in 1966.
The museum was founded by his wife Hulda Pankok, née Droste, in 1968. After her death, it continued to be maintained by his daughter Eva Pankok and, apart from the local history museum, is the only museum in the municipality of Hünxe. Other works by Pankok are housed in the Kunstmuseum in the Alte Post in Pankok's birthplace Mülheim an der Ruhr. Since February 2021, the director has been Katja Szymczak, who holds a doctorate in art history.
