L'autostrada A1 è un'autostrada della Svizzera. È il principale asse est-ovest e collega la frontiera francese all'autostrada A13 nei pressi della frontiera austriaca passando da Ginevra, Losanna, Yverdon-les-Bains, Payerne, Berna, Aarau, Zurigo, Winterthur, San Gallo e St. Margrethen.
Fa parte delle strade europee E60 e E25. La strada segue essenzialmente il tracciato della Strada principale 1.
La costruzione iniziò nel 1960. I primi tronchi sono stati aperti nel 1964 e gli ultimi nel 2001. Inizialmente chiamata N1 è stata poi rinominata A1 nel 1996, adeguandosi ai nomi delle autostrade nei paesi vicini. Il costo totale dell'opera ammonta a circa 9 miliardi di franchi svizzeri. Il costo è stato completamente ripagato con le tasse sui carburanti e le vignette autostradali.
