La battaglia di Blenheim, fu combattuta il 13 agosto 1704 e costituì uno dei punti di svolta nella guerra di successione spagnola. Essa ebbe luogo nei pressi del villaggio di Höchstädt am Donau , 16 km circa a sud-ovest della città di Donauwörth in Baviera.
Alla battaglia presero parte gli eserciti alleati , guidati dal duca di Marlborough, e dal principe Eugenio di Savoia, comandante degli imperiali. Essi si opponevano ai francesi e ai bavaresi, guidati dal duca di Tallard, dal principe elettore Massimiliano II Emanuele di Baviera e da conte di Marsin.
