De Chiesa di San Francesco d'Assissi a Ripa is een kerk in Rome, genoemd naar Sint Franciscus van Assisi.
De kerk vindt haar oorsprong in een klooster in de Romeinse wijk Trastevere. Sint Franciscus was enige tijd in het klooster te gast tijdens een van zijn reizen naar Rome. Na zijn dood in 1226 stond paus Gregorius IX toe dat zijn broeders er een eerste klooster vestigden. De hospitaalkapel San Biagio de Curte werd in 1229 verbouwd tot kloosterkerk. Eind zeventiende eeuw werd de kerk nogmaals herbouwd en gewijd aan de heilige, waarbij Ripa duidt op de nabijgelegen rivier Tiber.
