Le « bac » ou « Fontaine Saint-Jean » est une source qui a servi de lavoir pendant plusieurs siècles.
Actuellement encore, de nombreux habitants viennent s’y approvisionner en eau. Cette source alimentait le ruisseau qui servait à actionner le moulin du seigneur.
Elle ravitaillait également les douves du premier château, aujourd’hui disparu.
Le relief de la prairie, à votre droite, vous permet d’en deviner l’emplacement. Ce château très ancien comptait deux étages en pierre et deux étages en bois, entourés de douves.
