Sword Beach è stato il nome in codice alleato di una delle cinque spiagge in cui avvenne lo sbarco anfibio in Normandia il 6 giugno 1944, come parte iniziale dell'Operazione Overlord. La spiaggia di Sword, che era la più a oriente delle cinque, distava da Caen appena 15 km e si estendeva per 8 km, da Lion-sur-Mer, vicino a Ouistreham, fino a Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer, alla foce del fiume Orne. La spiaggia di sbarco era suddivisa in quattro zone denominate da ovest a est "Oboe", "Peter", "Queen" e "Roger".
