I Monti Sibillini sono il quarto massiccio montuoso per altezza dell'Appennino continentale ; si trovano nell'Appennino umbro-marchigiano, lungo lo spartiacque primario dell'Appennino centrale, a cavallo tra Marche e Umbria, e precisamente tra le province di Ascoli Piceno, Fermo, Macerata, Perugia. Il territorio dei Monti Sibillini ricade nell'omonimo Parco nazionale dei Monti Sibillini.
