La Dragonera és una illa de l'arxipèlag baleàric, sent-ne la sisena més gran. Està situada l'oest de Mallorca, davant de la torre de l'Arrabassada i de la cala en Basset. Administrativament pertany al municipi d'Andratx i actualment és Parc Natural. Té una superfície de 288 hectàrees, amb una longitud màxima de 3.700 metres i una amplària màxima de 780 metres. El seu relleu és accidentat, amb una costa escarpada. La cala Lledó li serveix de port.
L'altitud màxima de l'illa és de 360 metres. Aquest cim anomenat sa Pòpia de sa Dragonera estava antigament coronat per una torre, on després es va construir el primer far de l'illa. El freu que hi ha entre sa Dragonera i Mallorca supera els 20 metres de profunditat. El cap des Llebeig, situat al punt més meridional, té 128 metres d'altitud.
