Im Jahr 1676 ließ Christophe De le Tenre, der Pfarrer der Sankt-Martinusgemeinde, diese Kapelle erbauen, um den Sonntagsdienst für die weit entfernt wohnenden Gläubigen etwas zu erleichtern. Ab der Französischen Revolution wurde die Kapelle geschlossen. 1922 wurde sie für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich gemacht und 1947 wurde sie als geschütztes Monument anerkannt.
