Jahrtausend-Pforte (Andenne)
La Porte du Millénaire (Jahrtausend-Pforte) ist eine Arbeit von Félix Roulin. Sie wurde auf dem Place des Tilleuls in Andenne im Oktober 2001 aufgestellt. Für die Verwirklichung dieser Skulptur wurden mehrere Monate der Vorbereitung benötigt. Es handelt sich hier um eine Skulptur, die ungefähr 4,30 Meter hoch ist und mehr als 16 Tonnen wiegt. Sie besteht aus landestypischen Materialien, wie dem Kalkstein, der in den Steinbrüchen von Gore in Sclayn gewonnen wird. Vierundzwanzig Bronzefiguren wurden von Félix ROULIN gegossen und in dieses Tor eingefügt. Der Ankauf des Werkes wurde vom Gemeinderat von Andenne am 17. November 2000 beschlossen.
