Das Sächsische Landesgymnasium Sankt Afra zu Meißen ist ein Gymnasium für Hochbegabtenförderung im Freistaat Sachsen mit Sitz in Meißen. Schulträger ist das Sächsische Staatsministerium für Kultus. Es trägt den Namen der Heiligen Afra, Schutzpatronin für Stadt und Bistum Augsburg. Sankt Afra ist – zusammen mit der Landesschule Pforta in Sachsen-Anhalt – eine der wenigen staatlich getragenen Bildungseinrichtungen ihrer Art in Deutschland. Internatsbetreuung, Miete und Verpflegung sind kostenpflichtig.
Das Sächsische Landesgymnasium Sankt Afra sieht sich in der Tradition der „Fürstlichen Landesschule St. Afra“, einer der drei Fürstenschulen, die 1543 bzw. 1550 von Herzog Moritz von Sachsen nach der Umwandlung von Klöstern gegründet wurden. Die drei Fürstenschulen sind die ältesten staatlichen Schulen in Deutschland.
