L'hippodrome Wellington est un autre aspect d'Oostende royal, du nom du duc de Wellington. À partir de mai jusqu'au septembre, des courses de trot ou de galop sont organisées. L'hippodrome a été construit dans l'année 1883 et a obtenu dans sa longue histoire la visite de nombreux invités internationaux, surtout sous le régime du gouvernement de Léopold II. Vous remarquez une couronne sur le pavillon rond où les personnalités royales présentes ont suivies les courses.
