L'abbaye du Val-Dieu était un monastère de moines cisterciens situé à Aubel, dans le pays de Herve, en province de Liège . Fondée aux environs de 1215 dans un lieu « inculte et inhabité » de la vallée de la Berwinne par des moines venus de Hocht, elle fut fermée en 1812 et devint un pensionnat. Rachetée en 1840, l'abbaye reprit vie grâce à des moines venus de Bornhem.
