Op deze plek staat een oude eik, « Le Rond Chêne » de Ronde Eik, die een paar honderd jaar oud is. Deze opmerkzame boom is een overblijfsel van het grote woud dat in de XVIIIe eeuw bestond. Het kappen van de bomen toen (al) heeft ervoor gezorgd dat er nu nog maar een klein bos is. In de XIX eeuw , besloot de gemeente om weer bomen te planten op de uitgestrekte ontboste velden.
