De Monte Rosa is een bergmassief in de Walliser en de Penninische Alpen. Het massief vormt de grens tussen Zwitserland en Italië. De noordflank ligt in Wallis . De zuidelijke en oostelijke hellingen liggen in de Italiaanse regio's Valle d'Aosta en Piëmont. Het Monte Rosa-massief is na het Mont Blanc-massief de hoogste berggroep van de Alpen.
