La Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main o simplement Universitat de Frankfurt en català és el nom de la universitat de Frankfurt del Main . Fou fundada en 1914 i és una de les més prestigioses universitats del país, doncs en el Rànquing de Xangai de 2021 estava classificada entre la 151 i la 200 del mon, i entre la 7 i 10 d'Alemanya. Rep el nom en honor del literat Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, natural de la mateixa ciutat. La Universitat compta al voltant de 38.000 estudiants, inclosos 4.600 estrangers, i és el primer generador d'ocupació de la ciutat.
