Es tracta de l'antic escorxador de Sant Celoni, actualment seu de la biblioteca municipal.
L'edifici segueix la forma típica de masia basilical, amb el cos central més elevat que els laterals, permetent una bona il·luminació. El portal principal és un arc de totxo, i tot l'edifici descansa sobre un sòcol de les característiques pedres de riera.
Actualment és la Biblioteca Municipal.
