Tour of the Luberon Hill Towns 78km/48 miles

78km/48 miles somewhat Hilly (8/10) with one 13% grade.

This route sees it all as it loops the length of the valley passing through the reknown Luberon hill towns of Gordes, Rousillon, Bonnieux, Menerbes.

Of course they don't call them Hill Towns for nothing and so the Vertical Ascent is higher 1164m / 3800feet with peaks at Gordes, Saint Saturnin, Bonnieux and Menerbes.

For those who don't want to do the entire loop, an Early Home cut off is possible after Bonnieux.

Wine tasting opportunities are all along with route including Vins de Sylla before Apt, Chateau de l'Isolette and Chateau de Mille between Apt and Bonnieux and Domaine de la Citadelle on the flats below Menerbes and Domaine de la Royere near Coustellet.
