For quite a few years we had a piece of land in "our stomachs". The part that used to serve as a campsite is no longer profitable because the winter campsite on the other side of the dike has been sold and it is too expensive to meet the current hygiene requirements. The toilet, washing and shower facilities must be mobile because of the regularly recurring high water. After experimenting with sheep for a few years, we came up with the idea of starting a vineyard there. After a lot of research and visits to Dutch and foreign vineyards, we have come to the conclusion that it is very possible and that the location is extremely favorable.
