The Sint-Martinuskerk is a church with a double tower in the Dutch town of Cuijk. The church is located on the Kerkplein near the Maas.De Martinuskerk is a Neo-Gothic cruciform basilica with two towers that was built in the period 1911-1913 to a design by Caspar Franssen. The paintings in the interior are designed by Hans Mengelberg and executed by Johannes Cornelis Wilbrink. The altarpiece of the high altar, the Altarpiece of Cuijk, was made by Hendrik van der Geld for the church in Duisburg, but this eventually ended up in Cuijk. The side altars and pieta are also by Van der Geld. In 1945 the church was badly damaged by acts of war by the German army on the other side of the Meuse; the Cuijk mill and the Cuijk town hall were also heavily damaged. The damage could still be repaired. A major restoration of the church began in 2009 and was completed in 2011.
