L’église de Sissy a été en partie détruite lors des deux guerres mondiales et reconstruite dans le style Art Déco dans les années 1930, avec une flèche ajourée en béton armé.
L’église abrite du mobilier de l’ancienne chapelle des Endormis de Sissy : une Mise au Tombeau à onze personnages de la deuxième moitié du XVIe siècle, les restes d’un retable du XVIe siècle et de ses statues dormantes en pierre.
La plaque funéraire du XVIIe siècle de Louise Desfossey en pierre bleue s’y trouve également.
