L'université de Loma Linda offre essentiellement des formations dans les métiers de la médecine et la santé. Elle se présente ainsi : « Loma Linda intègre de manière unique la santé, la science et la foi chrétienne… cherchant à poursuivre l'enseignement et le ministère de guérison du Christ ».
