Il Padule di Fucecchio è la più estesa palude interna italiana. Ampia circa 2 000 ettari, si sviluppa tra le province di Firenze, Pistoia, Lucca e Pisa. La grande maggioranza dell'area è situata nella zona della Valdinievole, quindi a sud dell'Appennino Pistoiese, fra il Montalbano e le Colline delle Cerbaie; presenta come unico emissario il canale Usciana.
